The BD Vacutaner single use Tube Holder for blood extraction is a device made

of polypropylene and moulded by injection. It is compatible with 13mm and 16mm

diameter tubes and with the BD BactecTM blood culture bottles.

Transparent in color and designed for use with standard

or safety needles and with winged-shaped devices.

Latex free.

it is advisable to throw away the entire extraction device after venipuncture

for safety and hygiene reasons.

Instructions for use:

  - Select the appropriate Vacutainer needle and twist the cap until the seal is broken.

  - Screw the colored needle’s cone onto the tube holder until the needle is firmly attached to the tube holder.

  - Carry out the venipuncture procedure
